Northern Illinois Planned Giving Council educates, promotes and supports charitable planned giving to benefit both donors and non-profit organizations in the region.

Northern Illinois Planned Giving Council provides current regulatory and legislative information impacting not-for-profits and provides educational and professional growth opportunities for its members through programming and networking.


Since 2005, Northern Illinois Planned Giving Council has been the professional association in the region for individuals whose work includes developing, marketing, and administrating charitable planned gifts. Our diverse membership includes fund development professionals, consultants and advisors from a variety of professions and organizations:

Northern Illinois Planned Giving Council is led and governed by a volunteer Board of Directors representing these professions. The Council offers quarterly programming for its members, their guests and the community. Non-members also are welcome.
